Arts Street Awarded Grant to Plan for Art on 10th Avenue

Date posted: July 6, 2015

With the Mariposa redevelopment taking shape, the infrastructure for a vibrant commercial connection between the 10th and Osage light rail station and the Art District on Santa Fe is in place. Master planning for the redevelopment called for greater density on 10th and  included the addition of public art with each new phase. DHA’s investment in Mariposa is intended to be stimulative, and Arts Street wants to help the community complete the vision of the “10th Avenue Promenade” from the station to Santa Fe. This grant offers us all the opportunity to imagine our potential and will give  students a unique insight into outreach, planning and public art. Thanks to Rose Community Foundation and its Innovate for Good grant program that recognized the great work the team at Arts Street is doing. This is more great news for the La Alma Lincoln Park Neighborhood!
